Kerman Technologies LLC ("we", "us", or "our") values the privacy of our users, especially families and children. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you access CyberSpeller Space Academy (the "Service"). We comply strictly with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We limit the collection of personal data to the absolute minimum necessary to operate the Service and save account progress. We collect:

• Parent Account Information: A valid email address and password provided by the parent or legal guardian during account registration. This email is securely handled via Firebase Authentication.
• Child Profile Information: Nicknames or callsigns assigned to children's profiles by the parent account. To protect privacy, we strongly recommend parents use non-identifying callsigns (e.g. "Pilot Leo") instead of full names.
• Profile Security PINs: Optional parent-assigned 4-digit codes to control profile switching.
• Gameplay & Progress Data: Spelling accuracy statistics, lists of words spelled correctly, logs of misspelt words, game high scores, XP, achievements, custom lists, and active assignments.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We utilize the collected information strictly to:

• Authenticate users and maintain secure active sessions.
• Synchronize and save spelling progress, profiles, and dashboard preferences.
• Render performance metrics (accuracy rates, XP, trouble words) inside the Parent Dashboard.
• Deliver in-app audio feedback using cloud-synthesized text-to-speech technology.

We do not engage in behavioral tracking, serve advertisements, profile child users for commercial purposes, or sell, trade, or distribute user data to any third party.

3. DATA STORAGE & CLOUD SECURITY

All user information is securely transmitted and encrypted using industry-standard protocols. Our database backend is powered by Google Firebase services. Access is restricted using secure Cloud Firestore Security Rules, ensuring that all data under a user's record is completely isolated and accessible only to that authenticated parent.

4. PARENTAL RIGHTS & DATA DELETION

In accordance with COPPA and GDPR regulations, parents or guardians have complete control over all data stored. At any time, you have the right to:

• Review all progress logs, spelling histories, and profiles associated with your account.
• Modify or restrict game access and delete individual child profiles.
• **Permanently erase all personal data.** Clicking "Delete Pilot Data" inside your Space Commander Dashboard immediately and irreversibly deletes all profile records, scores, and custom configurations from Google Cloud databases.
